    UGH razer mice nowadays are just so awful when it comes to their scroll wheels. I've gone through two Razer Naga X's and after only a few months the scroll wheel becomes all jumpy on both of them. Before trying out these newer Razer Naga X's I was using my Razer Naga 2014 edition almost daily for 8 years straight. However the sensor/laser went bad on it but I had no problems with it for 8 years and the scroll wheel still works like new after all that time. Razer needs to get their act together, their products used to be so good and reliable :(. Anyways thanks for the helpful video!

    • @TCGProductions03
      @TCGProductions03 5 місяців тому

      That's exactly what this mouse did! The scroll wheel took on a mind of its own that no amount of percussive maintenance (short of a hammer, mallet, the butt end of a screwdriver, etc) would fix.

    • @icethingy
      @icethingy 5 місяців тому

      @@TCGProductions03 Such a shame! ive even tried the blowing compressed air into the wheels method and that didn't work either. So maybe it is time to bid them farewell and fix them once and for all like you did XD. Razer would have some of the best mice on the market if they would just revise their shotty scroll wheels. They have amazing optical mouse button switches that are actually hot swappable too. I just don't get how Razer hasn't come up with a scroll wheel solution yet. Just looking around online this problem plagues every other person it seems, and everyone else in time. The issue is rampant with complaints everywhere you look. I can only imagine how much money they lose from people getting their mice replaced under warranty. It usually happens under a years time and its been a fault with their mice for years now.

    Ever since we gave up CRTs for LCD’s thinness in the mid 2000s, we also gave up the incredible image quality and motion clarity of CRTs and didn’t realize what we lost until it was too late. It’s not been until about last year, when OLED tech has finally become mature enough to be used in monitors, that we’re finally getting image quality to rival high-end CRTs. Crazy.

    • @starsiren9592
      @starsiren9592 5 місяців тому

      CRTs are still better than OLEDs for motion clarity, fluidity and response times, and the one thing I love the most about CRTs and HATE about modern displays is that CRTs have no native resolution like modern displays do, so in a CRT you can watch and play older content and it will look amazing at any resolution while it will look like a blurry and pixelated pile of trash on modern displays because of the fixed native resolution. You don't need 4K and 360 FPS and a monster RTX 4090 to make your games look good on a CRT. No need for anti-aliasing either, so you can save a ton of GPU resources that can be used to turn up all the good visual effects to max and make games look amazing.

    The Model used in this setup, I think is a Model 3000 based on the interface. In 2005-2012, they used a new logo with a "TV GUIDE" which oddly was very fuzzy. I assume there was a firmware update or something like that.
